Lucia is the Chief Technology Officer at Ninety One; she has responsibility for all the technological interests of the firm and drives the technology enablement to amplify and accelerate Ninety One’s value proposition.
Prior to joining the firm, she spent over six years at JPMorgan Asset Management (AM), where she was the Global Head of Fixed Income and Liquidity Technology, responsible for developing and maintaining investment and trading platforms as well as holding the Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Chief Technology Officer role for JPMorgan AM. Prior to that, she was at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where she was the EMEA and Asia Head of Credit Derivatives Technology and Global Head of Structured Credit Technology.
Lucia and her teams have been recognised with several industry technology awards, including Outstanding Contribution by a Female in Financial Tech (2015 Banking Technology Award). Lucia holds an MSc. in Computer Science from the Malaga University in Spain, where she was part of a research group in Cryptography.
